Transitioning Into Purpose
I have often wondered about people within the body of Christ who are living succcessful lives and fulfilling their Kingdom purpose. What is it that makes their lives so different from the masses of people who call themselves believers, but whose lives differ very little from those in the world who have no relationship with God?
Being on this journey of transition on the way to purpose myself, I began to see several factors that cause those who have successful lives to differ from the masses. I will just share one factor with you today.
Kingdom minded successful people have a focus. No matter what their Kingdom purpose is, they are focused on that one thing. They put everything they have into that one endeavor. Matthew 13:44-46 They do not allow anything or anyone to distract them from their purpose. Joshua 1:7-8; Psalms 1:1-3 The last thing I noticed about these successful people was that their focus was beneficial to the Kingdom. Because their focus was specifically their area of gifting, and they put the Kingdom of God first place regarding their focus, they had a right to receive the promise that God's Word states in Matthew 6:33.
If you find yourself living like the masses with no tangible difference in your life, check your focus.

Possessing the Kingdom Message and not Parroting
One of the most effective ways of sharing the Kingdom message (Gospel or Good News) is by possessing what we are sharing. We are living in a time when people are not interested in what you have to say unless what you are saying is working in your life. 1 Corinthians 4:20 "For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."
We will not see this type of power (dunamis) in our lives if the Word of God is not planted in us. Joshua 1:7-8 AMP "Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it, For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success."
In order for us to possess the message and not just parrot what we have heard, we must meditate on God's Word. Psalms 1:2-3 AMP "But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]." We must not only speak God's Word, meditate on God's Word, we must also do what God's Word says. God's Word has to have personal application in each of our lives. When this takes place, we will not have to parrot what we have heard others say. We can share the Message of the Kingdom through our own personal testimony.
